RoHS DIRECTIVE:
RoHS is the European legislation that bans the use of cadmium, hexavalent chromium,
lead, mercury, PBBs (polybrominated biphenyls), and PBDEs (polybrominated diphenyl
ethers) in the manufacturing of new electrical products. All Trojan Telecom products
fully comply with this legislation.
WEEE - Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive
The EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is one of a series
of 'producer responsibility’ Directives that makes EU producers of new equipment
pay for the recycling and/or safe treatment and disposal of the products they put
on the market when they eventually come to be thrown away. Trojan Telecom are fully
compliant with the directive and have registered with Valpak. Our Membership Number
is: Z057122
CE Marking
"CE marking" is a process that applies to a wide variety of products and one which manufacturers located in the EU or importers of goods into the EU must complete. The CE mark is affixed to the product as the final stage of this process and is effectively a statement from the manufacturer (or importer) that the process has been successfully completed and that the product meets the essential requirements of the relevant CE marking Directives. EN55024:1998 + A1:2001 immunity
